Liner Inserts enhance the absorbency of Pads and Lunapanties to meet your particular needs, and will last approximately as long per use as a comparably-sized disposable pad or tampon. A single Pad will last you through a full day of your cycle, provided that the Liner Insert is changed before soaking through. Unlike Pantyliners, Liner Inserts must be used in conjunction with a Pad or Lunapanty.

These can be dampened with water and witchhazel and then frozen for use in post-partum.  These are also great for very heavy menstrual flows.

How many Liners do I need?
You can expect to use 1 Pad or Lunapanty per day, changing your Liner Inserts 1 - 6 times, depending on how light or heavy your periods are. When your Liner Insert becomes saturated, replace with a fresh, dry Liner. Multiple Liners may be added (up to 4 at a time for very heavy flows) to help prevent leaks or extend the time between Liner changes.
